France’s Voltalia SA (EPA:VLTSA) enjoyed a 26% year-on-year increase in revenues for 2022 as it kept the pace of growing sales to third-party customers and received more from energy sales after bringing online additional renewable power capacity.
The renewable power plants operator closed 2022 with total revenues of EUR 502.7 million (USD 548.5m), it announced on Wednesday.
While power generation declined, energy sales brought revenues that were 18% higher than in the year-ago period thanks to the increase in the average selling price per MWh. Revenues from project development and construction and equipment procurement meanwhile, gained 50%, to EUR 353.8 million, and those coming from the operation and maintenance of power plants improved by 19% and came at EUR 32.7 million.
Voltalia runs its business through two major divisions – energy sales and services. Details about their revenues are available in the table.
