German renewables developer and investor Reconcept GmbH said today it has expanded its pipeline to 3.1 GW of solar, wind and tidal power projects in the development and planning stage.
In the home market, the Hamburg-based company is focusing on solar energy and is currently working on projects with a total capacity of 680 MW.
Reconcept has also an extensive project pipeline in Finland through the joint venture Tuulialfa Oy, in which the German company owns a 50% stake. The joint venture has added a further 600 MW to its wind energy project pipeline, bringing it to 2,400 MW.
Canada is the third core market for the renewables developer. The focus there is on tidal and hydropower. The company has opened a branch in Toronto as it sees significant growth potential in the local market.
Reconcept has already set up around 240 solar, wind and hydropower plants in Germany and abroad with a combined installed capacity of around 390 MW and a total investment volume of some EUR 580 million (USD 582.43m).
