Renewable power producer Neoen SA (EPA:NEOEN) has signed deals to supply electricity from 62 MW of solar and 57 MW of wind generation capacity under two off-take deals in France and Finland.
The French firm said on Thursday that French digital infrastructure and network operator TDF has committed to procuring power for most of the electricity consumption of its telecommunications and audio-visual broadcasting sites. Supplies will be made under a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA).

Neoen will meet its commitment under the deal with the 16.8-MW Salernes and 45.1-MW Bousses solar farms in the departments of Var and Lotet-Garonne. The plants will go live in 2024 and 2025, respectively, with TDF buying their entire output of around 83 GWh per year and guarantees of origin. Power deliveries will start from January 1, 2026.
In Finland, Neoen and renewable energy cooperative Prokon have signed a 10-year PPA with data centre owner Equinix for at least 57 MW from the 95-MW Storbotet wind farm. The partially indexed-to-market-prices deal covers power and guarantees of origin, which will be allocated to Equnix’s five data centre facilities in the Nordic country.
To be built in the municipality of Uusikaarlepyy, Ostrobothnia region, the wind park will be switched on in 2025. Neoen owns 80% of the project, while the remaining 20% is held by Prokon.
The construction of the three renewable power plants is planned to commence in 2023, Neoen said.
