This month our focus is on the Baltic states. Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania have amibitious renewable energy goals and, though small in size, significant clean energy resources.
The share of renewables in Latvia's gross final consumption of energy stood at 36.7% at end-2015, according to Eurostat. Its 2020 goal is 40%.
