Polish renewables equipment wholesaler Menlo Electric has signed a contract with China’s Sungrow Power Supply Co Ltd (SHE:300274) to distribute 300 MW worth of its inverters to meet customer demand in “Europe and beyond”.
Menlo Electric, a distributor of photovoltaic and related equipment in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), said that it will be able to offer new products from Sungrow’s energy storage line and hybrid inverters. The range of products will include single and three phase string and hybrid inverters, batteries, and C&I inverters from 1 kW up to 350 kW.
“The major advantage of Sungrow hybrids is a new system of installation. The Push-Click-Go connectors enable mounting the inverter without special tools. No cables are needed to connect additional batteries. The inverter belongs to a high corrosion resistance class, ranked c5, and it has built-in over- and under-voltage protection,” Mikolaj Konieczka, Menlo Electric’s technical expert explains.
Sungrow’s inverters rely on advanced technology that ensures high thermal and chemical stability and provides protection against external factors, such as a house fire, Menlo Electric said.
The latest announcement comes shortly after Sungrow signed a distribution deal for 500 MW of PV inverters in the Brazilian market.
