Bulgarian hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] was the biggest blue-chip gainer on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday, bourse data showed.
M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] closed 3.23% higher at 8.000 levs as 324 shares changed hands on the Sofia bourse.
BSE's total stock trading turnover fell to 1.02 million levs ($563,900/521,900 euro) on Tuesday, from 1.12 million levs on Monday.
Financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] was the most traded blue chip on Tuesday as 233,949 shares changed hands at an average price of 0.969 levs.
Aluminium products maker Alcomet [BUL:6AM] was the top decliner among blue-chips. Its shares fell by 5.06% to 19.036 levs as 2,154 shares changed hands.
The blue-chip stock index SOFIX rose 0.43% to 639.32 points, after adding 0.25% on Monday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, increased by 0.13% to 125.95 points, following an increase of 0.31% on Monday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, fell 0.12% to 108.18 points, after edging down 0.23% on Monday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose by 0.27% to 504.70 points, after edging down 0.03% on Monday.
