SOFIA (Bulgaria), July 3 (SeeNews) – The Bulgarian share indices ended mostly higher on Thursday as total turnover rose, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip SOFIX index, which tracks the 15 most liquid shares on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), added 0.02% to 561.64 points after ending 0.51% lower in the previous session.
The broader BGBX40, which includes the 40 most traded shares, dropped 0.24% to 110.19 point after falling 0.14% on Wednesday.
The bourse's total turnover on the regulated market rose to 891,100 levs ($622,200/455,600 euro) from 471,900 levs in the previous trading session.
Drug producer Sopharma [BUL:3JR] was the top SOFIX gainer, closing 3.10% higher at 4.32 levs as 1,380 shares changed hands.
Car battery producer MonBat [BUL:5MB] was the top blue-chip decliner, ending 4.49% lower at 8.50 levs in a volume of 200 shares.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, was up 0.37% to 94.02 points after rising 0.29% a day earlier.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose 0.56% to 419.20 points after going up 0.37% on Wednesday.
