British telecoms giant Vodafone Group Plc (LON:VOD) has committed to procuring power from three solar parks that Greek industrial group Mytilineos SA (FRA:MYH) will build in England.

Canada’s Brookfield Asset Management Inc (TSE: BAM.A) will develop and build solar and wind plants to supply green power to a large chemicals production site that German major BASF SE (ETR:BAS) is building in the Chinese coastal city of Zhanjiang.

Capstone Infrastructure Corp (TSE:CSE-A) has clinched a long-term deal to sell power from 105 MW of wind turbine capacity coming from its 192-MW Wild Rose 2 wind project in the Canadian province of Alberta.

Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) has committed to buying electricity from 450 MW of solar parks to power its data centres in California under a deal with power distributor AES Corp (NYSE:AES).
-- Telenor in Norway to buy power from 260-MW Swedish wind farm
Telenor Infra AS, a telecom infrastructure provider in Norway, will be getting 330 GWh of power annually from a 260-MW wind farm in Sweden under a contract with Hydro Energi AS.

US power generation group AES Corp (NYSE:AES) announced a 20-year agreement with Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ:MSFT) to supply the tech group’s data centres in California with renewable energy.
-- Atlas, Hydro Rein to build 438-MW solar park in Brazil to serve Albras
Albras, the largest producer of primary aluminum in Brazil, will be buying electricity from a new 438-MW solar power plant to supply its facility in the state of Para.

Indian renewables company ReNew Energy Global plc (NASDAQ:RNW) has signed PPAs with utilities and corporate off-takers in India involving around 2 GW of solar energy.

US consumer and professional products maker The Clorox Company (NYSE:CLX) has sealed a virtual PPA for electricity coming from 47 MW of wind turbines owned by Enel Green Power North America.

Portuguese renewables company Greenvolt - Energias Renovaveis SA (ELI:GVOLT) has secured a power purchase agreement to deliver 98 MW of wind and solar power to Polish telecommunications operator T-Mobile Polska.
