Arabian Cement Company (ACC) has joined hands with SolarizEgypt on a EGP-100-million (USD 5.6m/EUR 4.9m) solar project that will be built at the Egyptian cement producer’s factory in Suez governorate. ACC will buy the output of the plant directly through a PPA.

Danish wind and solar developer European Energy A/S has signed a PPA with Swiss utility Axpo for the output of up to 300 MW of solar power capacity in Italy. The long-term framework deal will see Axpo buy solar-generated electricity for over 12 years, European Energy said on Tuesday.
