-- EDF Renewables to become shareholder in Egypt's KarmSolar

EDF Renewables, the green energy unit of French utility EDF SA (EPA:EDF), will acquire a stake in Egyptian solar firm KarmSolar by taking part in a reserved capital increase.

-- Eneco picks Mitsubishi, Chubu as preferred buyers with EUR-4.1bn bid

Netherlands-based energy company Eneco has chosen Japan’s Mitsubishi Corp (TYO:8058) and Chubu Electric Power Co Inc (TYO:9502) as preferred buyers with their offer of EUR 4.1 billion.

-- ReneSola sells 13MW of PV project rights in Poland to SUNfarming

Solar project developer ReneSola (NYSE:SOL) said it had sold development rights for 13 MW of projects in Poland to SUNfarming Polska Asset 4 sp zoo.

-- Audax arranges sale of wind farm company in Spain

Spanish renewable energy company Audax Renovables SA (BME:ADX) has signed a contract to sell its direct stake and associated rights in wind power subsidiary Parque Eolico Hinojal SLU, the project company behind 36 MW of wind power capacity in Andalusia.

-- Siemens eyes Iberdrola's interest in Siemens Gamesa - report

Siemens AG (ETR:SIE) ponders the possibility of acquiring the 8% stake in wind turbine maker Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA (BME:SGRE) currently held by Spain’s Iberdrola SA (BME:IBE), Bloomberg reports.

-- Engie considers sale of interest in 119-MW Aussie wind park - report

French energy group Engie SA (EPA:ENGI) plans to sell down its interest in the 119-MW Willogoleche wind farm it built in South Australia earlier this year, The Australian reported, without unveiling its sources.

-- Swiss agro group ESG to buy 72 MW of Polish wind farms

Swiss agricultural projects developer ESG EKO AGRO Group AG (ESG EAG) said it will acquire three wind farms in Poland with a combined capacity of 72 MW.

-- Boskalis buys all of UAE's Horizon

Dutch dredging and offshore contractor Royal Boskalis Westminster NV (AMS:BOKA) said it had assumed full ownership of United Arab Emirates-based marine survey company Horizon Group.

-- Solar collector developer Naked Energy raises USD 6.9m in funding

Naked Energy, a UK-based engineering company that develops a hybrid solar collector, announced earlier in the week it had completed a capital raise of GBP 5.25 million.

-- Sky Solar shareholders agree on going-private plan

US asset manager Hudson Sustainable Investments LLC announced it has entered into agreements with other shareholders to take Hong Kong-based solar power producer Sky Solar Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ:SKYS) private.

-- Greencoat Renewables pays EUR 10.5m for 14-MW wind farm buy

Irish renewable infrastructure company Greencoat Renewables Plc (LON:GRP) announced the purchase of a 14-MW wind park in northwestern Ireland for EUR 10.5 million.

-- Thrive Renewables buys 2.7-MW wind project in Scotland

British firm Thrive Renewables announced the acquisition of a 2.7-MW wind project in South Ayrshire in Scotland for an undisclosed amount.

-- ESB acquires 50% of EDF's 450-MW NnG offshore wind project

Irish state-owned utility Electricity Supply Board (ESB) has purchased half of the equity in the 450-MW offshore wind project developed in Scottish waters by French peer Electricite de France SA (EPA:EDF).

-- PNE offloads 16.8-MW wind project in Germany to CEE Group

Asset manager CEE Group has acquired the 16.8-MW Woelsickendorf wind project in Brandenburg, Germany, from renewable energy company PNE AG's (ETR:PNE3) wholly-owned unit WKN GmbH.

-- BayWa sells 18.8-MW wind project in Scotland to RPMI Railpen

The renewables arm of German diversified group BayWa AG (ETR:BYW6) said it had divested an 18.8-MW wind project in Scotland to UK pension fund RPMI Railpen.

-- 1414 Degrees to rid SolarReserve of Aurora, plans 400 MW of PV plus storage

Thermal energy storage system developer 1414 Degrees Ltd (ASX:14D) unveiled plans to pick up a South Australia project dropped by California-based SolarReserve LLC in order to pilot its TESS-GRID technology.

The company has agreed to acquire SolarReserve Australia II Pty Ltd in a AUD-2-million transaction that will be funded by its existing cash resources.

-- Shunfeng offloads 11 solar farms in China to cut debt

Shunfeng International Clean Energy Ltd (HKG:1165) said it had reached an agreement to sell 11 solar parks in China to China National Nuclear Power Co Ltd (SHA:601985) in a bit to lower its debt levels.

-- BayWa nears sale of stake in renewables arm

German diversified group BayWa AG (ETR:BYW6) said it was in final talks over the sale of a stake in its renewables subsidiary BayWa r.e renewable energy GmbH.

-- PNE’s management still sees Morgan Stanley’s offer as “adequate”

The management and supervisory boards of PNE AG (ETR:PNE3) continue to support the takeover bid launched by Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (MSIP) after the latter amended and extended the public tender offer.

-- Austria's Verbund drops out of race for EDP's HPPs - report

Verbund (WBAG:VER) is no longer competing for the hydropower plants (HPPs) worth around EUR 2 billion offered for sale by Energias de Portugal SA (ELI:EDP), Reuters reported, citing a spokeswoman for the Austrian utility.

Swedish wind project developer Eolus Vind AB (STO:EOLU-B) has finalised a 163-MW wind farm project in Sweden and transferred the ownership of the asset to Germany’s Aquila Capital.

-- Norwegian solar platform Otovo gets USD 19m in new funding round

Norwegian solar platform Otovo said it has raised NOK 177 million in an investment round that will help it expand its residential offerings.
