German wind and solar park operator Encavis AG (ETR:CAP) has taken full ownership in over 200 MW of photovoltaic (PV) assets in Spain and Germany.

Indian oil and gas producer Oil and Natural Gas Corp Ltd (ONGC) and power generator NTPC Ltd (BOM:532555) have signed a pact to set up a joint venture (JV) operating in the renewable energy field.

The energy arm of Saudi Arabia’s Alfanar Group is reportedly nearing the acquisition of Senvion India Pvt Ltd, which was spun off from German wind turbine maker Senvion last year.

German wind and solar park operator Encavis AG (ETR:CAP) has secured exclusivity for a utility-scale solar portfolio in Denmark that exceeds 500 MW of capacity.

-- Inox Wind sheds power production firm Sri Pavan Energy to KPR

Indian wind turbine maker Inox Wind Ltd (BOM:539083) has offloaded its 51% stake in its wind power generation business Sri Pavan Energy Pvt Ltd to Telangana-based Sri KPR Infra & Projects Ltd for about INR 510,000.

Sky Solar Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ:SKYS), a Hong Kong-based independent solar power producer, has received a non-binding proposal from a group of buyers interested in acquiring all company shares not already owned by them.

-- Alliant Energy plans acquisition of 675-MW solar bundle in Wisconsin

US utility Alliant Energy Corp (NYSE:LNT) intends to buy and advance a portfolio of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Wisconsin totalling 675 MW.

-- Capital Dynamics buys 23.1-MW subsidy-free wind project in N Ireland

Asset manager Capital Dynamics has finalised the acquisition of a 100% stake in a 23.1-MW zero-subsidy onshore wind project in Northern Ireland.

Malaysian oil and gas major Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) is holding talks to acquire 100 MW of photovoltaic (PV) assets from Indian solar developer Acme Solar, the Economic Times reports.

Japanese natural gas utility Tokyo Gas Co Ltd (TYO:9531) is investing more than USD 22 million in US floating wind foundation specialist Principle Power Inc to fund the company’s global growth strategy.

Standard Paper & Board Singapore Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based privately held company, has acquired a 65% stake in German energy company De Raj Group AG (ETR:DRJ) as part of its expansion into renewable energy.

-- SWEPCO gets Louisiana's nod for 810 MW wind buy, plans 200-MW solar RfP

The Louisiana Public Service Commission (LPSC) has approved Southwestern Electric Power Co’s (SWEPCO’s) plan to buy into a 1,485-MW wind project portfolio in Oklahoma that will supply electricity to the utility’s clients in several states.

-- Brazil's CADE okays EDF's acquisition of 600-MW wind portfolio

Brazil's Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) has approved the acquisition by EDF EN do Brasil Participacoes Ltda of the assets that constitute a 600-MW wind power complex in the state of Pernambuco.

-- EIP, NextEnergy buy 102 MW of community solar in New York

US private equity firm Energy Impact Partners (EIP) and a fund managed by UK-based NextEnergy Capital Group said they have purchased a portfolio of community solar projects with a combined capacity of 102 MW in New York.

-- US Solar Fund to acquire 61-MW solar bundle in Oregon

US Solar Fund Plc (LON:USF) said it has inked an agreement to buy a portfolio of solar projects with a combined capacity of about 61 MW in Oregon.

-- REEF buys 49.99-MW PV park in Spain

Bulgaria-based solar company REEF Development Ltd has acquired a 49.99-MW photovoltaic (PV) park in the Spanish region of Extremadura.

-- Excelsior, Unico Solar tie up in 250-MW C&I solar JV

Renewable energy investor Excelsior Energy Capital has formed a joint venture (JV) with solar developer Unico Solar Investors targeting a 250-MW portfolio of commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects in North America.

-- Italy's PLC sells 49 MW of wind projects to EGP

Italian power capacity installer PLC SpA (BIT:PLC) completed the sale of 49.2 MW of wind projects in Benevento, Italy to Enel Green Power (EGP).
